March 14, 2025 — We are thrilled to announce that the Global Taskforce for Youth Combatants (GTY) will host its third online event on the 18th of March. In this event, a human rights lawyer in Iraq and a former combatant from Ethiopia will share their personal experiences, including their background, conflicts in their countries, and the challenges ex-combatants face in reintegrating into society.

Through this event, the Global Taskforce for Youth Combatants (GTY) aims to shed light on the often-overlooked circumstances of youth combatants within the international community, foster meaningful dialogue, and raise awareness of their critical role in peacebuilding processes. By understanding their struggles and amplifying their voices, we hope to deepen the discussion about their rights and the empowerment they need for effective reintegration and peacebuilding.
